There's a trojan horse around targeting users of skipe; just watch out what e-mails you open, claiming to have an update of the program. Good times huh?

Anyone stupid enough to get their program updates via email deserves to get a trojan anyways.

oh come on; that's a bit harsh! I mean i'd never do it, but there's heaps of newbies out there who'd just find it more convenient and wouldn't know the risks.

Thanks for the info, Brice. So far, I haven't gotten anything thru my email about Skype, but if I do, I'll know to delete or block it. And yeah, it wouldn't be smart to dowload upgrades from a place (whether thru email or computer), especially when you yourself didn't request it.

I agree with that, RDFreak. People who are new to computers may not know. Anyway, it's always good to inform people of any melicious programs that they know of, even though most people will know how to avoid them, so we'll know ahead of time what to look out for if anything unusual shows up to us.
